In the process of sorting express documents by address and area as required by a certain express delivery company, 14 manual workers were originally assigned to sort by area based on the recipient address listed on the label on the express document bag. However, this sorting operation is inefficient and prone to errors in sorting and placement. The customer plans to use a robotic production line to improve sorting speed and accuracy.
The entire process is divided into visual inspection area, sorting areas A, B, and C. Each sorting area is equipped with 2 Burkent parallel four axis robots. Each robot picks up 6 partition mechanisms and 12 collection woven bags representing different areas within its picking range. The file bags have no overlapping incoming materials and are transported to the vision system for pose and barcode recognition through a conveyor belt. The robot picks up the corresponding area's file bags based on their information, places them in the partition mechanism, and finally slides them into the collection bags in the corresponding area. The sensor next to the partition mechanism detects that the file bag woven bag is full, and then sends an instruction to remove it. This process involves a total of 6 Burkent four axis parallel robots, which can be put into use according to the number of file bags.
